I received my BFA in Visual Arts with a major concentration in photography and a minor concentration in cyber arts from the University of Toledo in 1998. My adviser and mentor while at UT was Deborah Orloff, MFA. An exploration of my relationship with my Roman Catholic religion formed the basis of my work's content during my undergraduate studies. After completing my degree at UT, I spent a year studying and teaching photography at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana before deciding to pursue other career interests. My more recent work deals more with my interest in a sense of place and space which have some relationship to my study of geography and environmental planning. In this photographic section of my website, you will find links to different bodies of my photographic work from the time of my undergraduate studies and beyond.
