Complex Weavers is dedicated to expanding the boundaries of handweaving, to encourage weavers to develop their own creative styles, to inspire through research, documentation, and the sharing of innovative ideas. We challenge our skills and imagination by sharing information and innovations with our fellow weavers – both directly and through our study groups, Seminars, Journal and biennial exhibition, Complexity.

Organized in 1975, the Western Reserve Spinners & Weavers Guild is a northeast Ohio based guild consisting of fiber lovers of all kinds and all skill levels. The Guild is open to weavers, spinners, and all those interested in the fiber arts. Guests are always welcome.

Penland is an international center for craft education dedicated to helping people live creative lives. Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, Penland offers one-, two-, and eight-week workshops in books & paper, clay, drawing, glass, iron, metals, photography, printmaking and letterpress, textiles, and wood. The school also offers artists' residencies, community collaboration programs, and a gallery and information center.

The Textile Art Alliance (TAA), an affiliate group of the Cleveland Museum of Art, is an active organization of artists, designers, craftspeople, educators, and collectors with a common interest in the textile and fiber arts.
Formed in 1934, TAA’s purpose is to promote the fiber arts through exhibitions, educational programs and purchases to enlarge the textile collection of the Cleveland Museum of Art.
To date, approximately fifty pieces have been purchased for the museum’s textile collections. These gifts have ranged from Peruvian weavings dated 200 BC to works by contemporary Artists such as Lenore Tawney, Glen Kaufman, and Jon Eric Riis.

The Morgan Art of Papermaking Conservatory and Educational Foundation is a Cleveland, Ohio non-profit art center dedicated to the production and preservation of hand papermaking and the art of the book. The Morgan Conservatory will pursue its educational and charitable purposes by serving the greater community locally, nationally and internationally with sustainable practices in an innovative green environment.
