This is my second weaving project. I used an 8-shaft loom at the Columbus Cultural Arts Center and a pattern from Handwoven Magazine to create this 3-color cotton & polyester, echo and shadow weave scarf that mimics the pattern in a peacock's feathers. My first weaving project completed at the Columbus Cultural Arts Center. This was made using wool yarn on a counter-sink floor loom. I used a plaid pattern combined with a lace weave. It was woven as yardage that I then made into a yoga mat bag as a gift for my brother. Click here to see more images from this project.
